Lusaka Commercial Cold Store (LCCS), a groundbreaking project by one of DP World’s Market Access Consumer businesses, the Deep Catch Group, is set to revolutionize the cold storage industry in Zambia.

With a proven track record in strategic cold storage solutions across Namibia and South Africa, the Deep Catch Group has expanded its operation to support the supply chain requirements of its group and local customers.

Having opened doors on 21 November 2023 and located in the York Development Park on Kafue Road in Lusaka, Zambia, Lusaka Commercial Cold Store is the first of its kind in the country, offering state-of-the-art cold storage facilities to meet the needs of local meat, poultry and fish producers, as well as the thriving hospitality and retail sectors.

This development marks a significant milestone in the Deep Catch Group’s expansion plans, as it aims to establish a strong cold chain footprint in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.
